EPISODE 7: Meditation and Mindset Work for the Wedding Industry

Featuring Rev. Laura Cannon, a wedding officiant and meditation instructor, this episode of This Week in Weddings discusses the hows and whys of using mediation and mindset work for entrepreneurs.

About our guest:

Laura started her first business at 19 and is a true serial entrepreneur.  She is the founder and CEO of Ceremony Officiants, one of the #1 rated wedding officiant companies in the United States. She also continues to run several other businesses inside and outside of the wedding industry including The International Association of Professional Wedding Officiants and DC Elopements. She is also a professional public speaker and author. Her new book, The Conscious Entrepreneur: A Guide to Maximizing Your Potential for Success, Freedom, and Happiness is currently available on Amazon. In addition to her professional life, Laura has spent the past 20 years studying in various spiritual disciplines and traveling the world studying with indigenous healers in South America and Mexico. She is a yoga teacher and meditation instructor and even in her busy schedule she still teaches meditation and yoga weekly. But what makes Laura so interesting is that while she has her head in the clouds she also has her feet firmly planted on the ground. She knows how to balance the mystical and the practical.  And after spending the last nearly two decades mastering the art of “doing what you love” she now helps others to do the same through her consulting/coaching practice.
